Residual renal function in dialysis patients

Residual renal function (RRF) improves outcome in renal replacement therapy. Factors which unfluence on RRF include dialysis adequacy, control of hydratation, stability of blood pressure and cardiaс functions, drug renal complications. Association of new dialysis technologies, with stable RRF and low-protein diet with the addition of ketoanalogues of essential aminoacids are perspective for individual modes of hemodialysis and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis.
