Консервативное лечение камней мочеточника остается важной составной частью тактики ведения пациентов с мочекаменной болезнью (МКБ). Несмотря на повсеместное внедрение в клиническую практику малоинвазивных технологий оперативного удаления камней, использование консервативного воздействия, направленного на обеспечение максимальных условий для самостоятельного отхождения камней из верхних мочевыводящих путей (ВМП), рассматривается урологическим сообществом как составная часть комплексного лечения. По мере накопления знаний о молекулярно-биохимических особенностях физиологии гладкомышечных клеток мочеточника, определения роли нарушения уродинамики ВМП и факторов воспаления стало возможным оценить пути решения проблемы самостоятельного отхождения камней.
