Purpose. Studies on the effect of hemodialysis on echocardiographic parameters characterizing the functional state of the heart.Material and methods. The study included 23 patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) (15 men and 8 women) aged 28 to 50 years. All the patients underwent paired (before hemodialysis and within 2 hours of it) echocardiographic studies, including tissue Doppler imaging mode.Results. After hemodialysis decreased left ventricular volume indices increased flow rate of early filling to form a type E> A, apparently associated with a rapid decrease preload index deteriorated Tei.Conclusion. Patients with end-stage renal failure is expedient to echocardiography in the dynamics before and after hemodialysis in comparable time periods.
