Structural and functional interrelations of changes of cardiorenal system in pregnant women with chronic arterial hypertension

Aim. Study of associations of changes of cardiorenal system in pregnant with chronic arterial hypertension.
Methods. 100 pregnant women with chronic arterial hypertension and 30 normotensive pregnant women were included into the study. Parameters of involvement of kidney, vascular wall and heart were analysed.
Results. Pregnant with chronic arterial hypertension demonstrate correlation between hyperfiltration and pulse wave velocity, microalbuminuria is associated with increase in peripheral vascular resistance. Concentric hypertrophy of myocardium negatively correlated with glomerular filtration rate.
Conlusion. Concomitant changes of cardiorenal system in pregnant with chronic arterial hypertension can be found.
